Winner Update: Two Days for Two Years
Last summer, our clients, colleagues and friends helped choose a deserving non-profit to receive two days of pro bono consulting in celebration of our second anniversary. We’re excited to share an update about our partnership with Minds Matter Denver, the recipient of that support.
Minds Matter Denver helps high-achieving kids from lower-income neighborhoods attend their college of choice. They have plans to expand their support beyond Denver to reach the entire state of Colorado. And they recognized that their brand and storytelling would impact their ability to form partnerships with school districts, attract philanthropic support, and recruit new mentors to support these amazing students.
Our Two Days for Two Years partnership focused on helping Minds Matter tighten and crystallize their messaging — arming them with compelling and concise key messages and an elevator pitch that would engage and excite any stakeholder.
We asked Savinay Chandrasekhar, executive director for Minds Matter, about how our collaboration impacted their work. Here’s what he had to say:
“We’ve got an ambitious goal to serve corner-to-corner Colorado in 10 years, and Springboard Communications has helped us figure out how to explain our mission, value proposition, and 10-year vision in easy-to-remember and easy-to-deliver words,” Savinay said. “We’re a very, very lean team of two, so Marissa’s expertise and guidance helped us a lot with our messaging, especially prior to a website and collateral redesign.”
